Stacy and Clinton on “What Not to Wear”
would always cringe when a fashion victim would always say the “C” word…”comfortable”. The
problem is that the victim equated comfort with dowdy, loose, and boring. There are times that I dress that way
especially during allergy season. I can’t
help it. We all have days like
that. We are only human. However, my outfit may look that way but not
my shoes. From the ankle down, my shoes
are usually the best part of the outfit.
Comfort is important to me in both clothing
and shoes! The latter is the most difficult to achieve
especially since I mostly shop online.
What I have learned over the past few years is that if you find
something you like in shoes, you better buy more than one pair because it might
be gone the next day.
There are two places that I have found that have two
things that are important to me in shoes:
comfort and style. Comfortview at www.onestopplus.com
and Lower Eastside Chelsea Flat at www.payless.com
are two of my favorites, at this moment.
I bought all 7 colors of the Chelsea Flats and I can’t begin to count
how many pairs of shoes that I have from Comfortview.
Comfortview has a better selection overall because
there is everything from flats to high heels to on trend boots. The one advantage of this brand of shoes is
that each size has wide width sizes up to size 12.
When shopping online for shoes don’t forget to use
Ebates and go online and find a coupon code.
I have NEVER paid shipping at Payless. Furthermore, on www.onestopplus.com , I joined their
shipping club for $19.99 per year and you will get $2.99 shipping no matter how
much you purchase. It’s a great
deal. Even better is when you can score
a coupon code with free shipping.
Payless Shoes: This flat comes in silver, gold, brown, glitter black, matte black, cognac and nude.
